What are we going to do?
First a Fun Day with a serious undertone
WISC UP WELLESBOURNE!
W- Wellesbourne
I - inclusive
S - safer
C- community
WISC up Wellesbourne
Why?
* To bring together all ages and all parts of our local community
* To demonstrate what is already available to do here in the village
* To promote W.A.G. and get people interested and wanting to help!
So what will WAG do?
Take on the lead role within the community
To help identify and address local issues, whether it be of concern or community activities.
Towards the end of 2006, the safer neighbourhood policing initiative will be rolled out across Wellesbourne. WAG aims to provide a seamless link to this.
How will WAG do it?
Bring the community together by providing the opportunity to get together and get involved in establishing WAG. This day will provide fun for the community!
We will also have information about services available in Wellesbourne and information about the WAG group.
It is also a chance for the community to have their say!
WISC and W.A.G.
We hope to identify members of the community of different ages, backgrounds and sexes who are willing to come together to help set up Wellesbourne Action Group.
The first meeting of the group will be to establish who is involved and to establish and identify initial suggestions of how Wellesbourne can be developed and improved.
W.A.G.Ideas and projects
These could be
Revamping the Youth Centre
Wellesbourne creating it's own nature walks
intergenerational projects
And other projects the people of Wellesbourne think will improve the village for all.
