    Democracy and participation

    PAGs - Parents' Advisory Groups

Each Children's Centre in Leamington has its Parent Advisory Group. Please come along and have your say in the changes taking place. There is a creche provided at daytime meetings (although places are limited).

Taking part in the PAG isn't the only way to get your ideas and opinions heard within the Children's Centre, but it is effective. Taking part in the meetings gives the process credibility and strength - it's up to you!

    Your local PAG:

  • Lillington PAG
  • Kingsway PAG
  • Whitnash PAG
  • Sydenham PAG
  • Warwick (Newburgh & Westgate) PAG
    PAGs and the Steering Groups

As well as being a discussion forum and having an advisory role, each PAG sends representatives to take part in its local Steering Group. This is the body that makes the actual decisions about the local Children's Centre. The Steering Group is roughly half PAG representatives and half other professionals.
