Welcome to the official website of St.George's Church, Brailes

The Parish of Brailes is in the attractive Cotswold scenery of south east Warwickshire - an area of "outstanding natural beauty". The parish includes Lower Brailes, Upper Brailes, Winderton and surrounding farms - about 6 square miles in all.

Please visit www.brailesvillage.co.uk  and click on "caring" and then St.George's Church for lots more information including monthly services and events,  a copy of the Guidebook, photos and a list of the services etc.

The wonderful Parish Church of St.George is a reminder of Brailes' mediaeval importance, and because of its great size has been known as the "Cathedral of the Feldon" for centuries. It has one star in Simon Jenkins' "1000 Best Churches".

It is a fine building of mixed architectural styles, and has stood as a beacon of the Christian faith for a thousand years. Much loved by parishioner and visitor alike, it is normally open every day, but if you are making a special journey, do check first. The diary of events and services are on the "This month at St.George's" page - click on it in the left column!
