Homepage for St. Georges Church, BrailesWelcome to the official website of St.George's Church, Brailes The Parish of Brailes is in the attractive Cotswold scenery of south east Warwickshire - an area of "outstanding natural beauty". The parish includes Lower Brailes, Upper Brailes, Winderton and surrounding farms - about 6 square miles in all. Please also look at www.brailes-parish.org.uk and click on amenities and then St.George's Church for lots more information including a copy of the Guidebook. The wonderful Parish Church of St.George is a reminder of Brailes' mediaeval importance, and because of its great size has been known as the "Cathedral of the Feldon" for centuries. It has one star in Simon Jenkins' "1000 Best Churches". It is a fine building of mixed architectural styles, and has stood as a beacon of the Christian faith for a thousand years.
